Arnot-Roberts Rosé!

Last weekend, we had a couple of 70ish degree days here in NYC.

Come Monday, I'm back in the shop and a customer asks me for a rosé.  

I turn to the shelf to see that all the pink wine we had on Friday was now gone. 

My point is that the demand for rosé comes fast and furious. 

Enter today's arrival - the fabulous fan favorite from Arnot-Roberts. 

This totally unique pinkie is 67% Touriga Nacional, 21% Gamay, 10% Tinto Cao and 2% of Grenache from various organically farmed sites and, while that may sound like a bit of an 'adventurous' blend, I assure you that the end result strikes a perfect balance between elegance and eccentric character. 

The more formidable Touriga lends a hauntingly dark/savory undercurrent to what is otherwise a fragrant, nuanced, mineral and delicately refreshing wine. 

There's nothing quite like that first glass of rosé on that first sunny Friday afternoon...

...and there's nothing quite like Duncan and Nathan's version rosé. 

So, here you go, a whole bunch of 'nothing like it' moments...

...while the A-R Rosé lasts, that is...
