MCF Rare Wine

Brovia's Stellar 2020s

Barolo Season.

That's what this time of year is.

Sorry, I know, I know...plenty of other wines can lay claim to being the perfect wines of Fall...

...but, also, NOT sorry...

...because Barolo (and, yes Barbaresco too...but 'Barolo Season' just rolls off the tongue) on a Fall afternoon, while the smell of some delicious Sunday meal aroma-therapy-izes your home, is, for me, as good as it gets...

(Especially if the Mets and Jets are worth watching...which...for now, they are...)

Anyway - as you long timers know, MCF will be the source of an onslaught of awesome Piemontese wines coming your way this time of year...

...so I'm gonna start with what is probably the best set of Baroli for the 2020 vintage...Brovia.

These wines have gone from insider faves, to the top tier of old-school collectibles that sit alongside the likes of Conterno, Mascarello, Cappellano, etc.

And I'm not kidding...their 2020 Crus are simply fabulous.

From the deep, brooding, darkly pitched Villero, to the high-toned, dazzlingly perfumed Rocche, to the sexy, juicy, deceptively powerful Brea-Ca' Mia, and the low-key, 'aww shucks' exuberance of Garblet Suè, these wines are, as always, an absolute must for anyone who wants to have the profound depth of Barolo in their cellar.

And, let's not forget the baseline Barolo DOCG, which is always one of the great entry wines in the region, perfect for medium term aging.

Plus, we have awesome pricing on all five wines...so...

...do it for Barolo Season.
