You may be familiar with the French notion of Âmevive, but you might be familiar with this young winery of the same name. Something tells me, though, that you will be hearing a whole lot about them in the coming years. The Santa Barbara Gamay is sourced from the Shokrian vineyard in Los Alamos, and is, at once, a classic, French-nodding Gamay, but also a brilliantly bright, herbaceous, earthy example of Santa Barbara brightness. It's easily one of the finest CA Gamay we've tasted in a long time!
