A gem of a Pinot Noir from the Weingut Unterortl estate in Alto Adige with a bit of age on it. Very light in color with dark cherry and berry aromas and a smoky, savory edge. The palate is long, lively and quite elegant with a little bite left to it. This bottle will continue to age rather nicely but is already in a great place. A wonderful bottle to pair with a long, languorous meal!
