One of our favorite producers of value-packed Côtes du Rhône Villages, just about everything Les Aphillantes produces is a ton of wine for the money. And this gem, made entirely of Syrah, and from the lovely 2019 vintage, is drinking beautifully right now. It's dark, mineral, spicy/leathery and, being all Syrah, is nice and nimble for a wine with so much flavor. Delicious!
