The Gevrey-Chambertin Village, which includes 50% whole cluster, has a very perfumed bouquet of lifted red cherries, crushed strawberry and raspberry tart aromas; scents of pressed rose petal develop in the glass. The medium-bodied palate is sweet and candied on the entry, with supple tannins and moderate depth. Elegant in style, if just needing a little more grip toward the finish.
