The absolutely irresistible Satyricon 2022 is, perhaps, the biggest outlier expression of all the wines. I know I've been throwing around the word 'elegance' a lot today, but if it applies anywhere, it's here. This version of Tecce's young-vine Aglianico, normally densely-packed, darkly mineral and tannic, is darkly mineral and savory, yes, but is somehow mostly defined by its energetic, briny finesse. Normally this wine needs 3-5, but this is, as I said, irresistible.
